3. Google Sign-In
LEWS uses Google OAuth to authenticate users. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google in order to create your session. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access other Google services on your behalf beyond this basic profile information.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate LEWS (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics), under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities, if required to comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process
5. Litigation Intelligence Data
The signals LEWS surfaces (e.g., FDA adverse event data, court filings, public research) are drawn from publicly available sources and are not personal information about you. This Policy governs information about you as a user of LEWS, not the third-party data displayed within it.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and session information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the platform and comply with legal obligations.
7. Your Choices
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@lews.ai. Signing out clears your local session; revoking LEWS's access from your Google Account settings will additionally stop future sign-ins from sharing your Google profile information with us.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and HTTP-only session cookies, to protect information transmitted to and from LEWS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
